How to add a camera device on V380 Pro App – Add V380 camera is a step to connect a CCTV camera with the V380 brand to the V380 Pro application so that users can see a live view of the CCTV camera remotely from anywhere via mobile phone.
Here is a CCTV manual that provides a way to add a new camera on the V380 Pro App.
Step 1 – Turn on the V380 CCTV camera by connecting the adapter to a local power source. Make sure you have installed the V380 Pro app and registered an account.
Step 2 – Open the V380 Pro app.
Step 3 – Log in to your app account. If you’re already logged in, you’ll be redirected to the dashboard when you open the app.
Step 4 – Tap the “+” sign in the upper right corner or tap Add Device.
Step 5 – Tapping the “+” sign will bring up more options, and you’ll need to select Add Camera.
Step 6 – Scan the QR code affixed to the V380 CCTV camera body. If Bluetooth is active on your phone, the CCTV camera will be automatically detected in the V380 Pro app.
Step 7 – The phone’s Bluetooth is turned on, the V380 CCTV camera is automatically detected.
Step 8 – Then, if the Require Following Setting message appears, make sure the Enable Setting section in the Locations tab is in the On position (blue).
Tap the Confirm button.
Step 9 – Select the Wi-Fi name used for the CCTV camera. For example, we’ll use the Wi-Fi name Pasitive 4G_EXT (adjust it to the Wi-Fi name used at your location). It only supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.
Also enter the Wi-Fi password. Click the Confirm button.
Step 10 – Then the Wi-Fi connection process page to the V380 CCTV camera appears in the V380 Pro application.
Step 11 – Activating Device.
Step 12 – Added Successfully. Name the CCTV camera, for example, My Home. Then click the View Device button. You will be redirected to the CCTV camera’s live view page. If there is a Cloud subscription offer, simply click the button.
The newly added CCTV V380 will also appear on the dashboard.
Once the V380 CCTV camera is connected to the V380 Pro app, users can view the camera’s live view directly on their mobile phone from anywhere as long as the camera is connected to the internet or Wi-Fi.
