To use RS485 with a PC you will need to obtain an RS485 converter.
For use with a PC and for RS485 parameter, please see overleaf
The connections below show RS232 out of a PC, this will need to connect to an RS485 converter. Some converters simply use Tx and Rx terminals, C is only required when using a screened or shielded cable as the GND (ground) connection.
